Recreational Classes

Escape Dance Academy is a place where children from ages 2 and up can get top-notch training and learn valuable skills. All of our staff make it a priority to make sure each and every child is receiving the best dance education in the area! We pride our studio on our strict curriculum of teaching proper technique in each genre along with strength, flexibility, and confidence! Our nurturing and caring staff create a warm and loving environment for our dancers to grow and learn in! We are truly a family at EDA! We offer a wide range of recreational dance classes, such as:

  • Tap

  • Jazz

  • Ballet

  • Hip Hop

  • Tumbling

Our recreational classes run from September to the end of May, with our recital being at the beginning of June.

Competition Teams

Escape Dance Academy’s award-winning competition team is a tight-knit group of dancers that found their passion for dance though our classes at EDA. Our team is trained at the highest level of competition, and has won championships across the country.

With expert training, top of the line instructors, and cutting edge choreography, EDA’s competition team leads the nation in building well-rounded employable dancers.

We offer an Elite Competition Team, Prep Competition Team, and Artistry Ensemble. Our goal is to train dancers that have strong technique, and understand the importance of team work in every aspect of performance. Above all else, our EDA competition team is a group of best friends making life long memories together.

Escape Express Recital Program

Our Escape Express Recital Program is perfect if you want your child to have the experience of dance classes and a recital without a year-long commitment. It is an 8-week program in the spring, leading up to our annual dance recital. Your child can take a class, or classes, of their choice for 8 weeks, and get the full recital experience! Our Escape Express program includes the following:

  • 8 weeks of dance class

  • Recital costume

  • Recital performance

  • Digital recital video recording

This is an all-inclusive program, and is included in your one time class fee- no surprises! We debut our Escape Express schedule in January, with classes starting in March. Keep an eye on our classes page to see the schedule when it releases!
